Ed Monk Lectures on Active Shooters

When responding to Active Shooters, seconds save lives. The US has been failing at Active Shooter response for over 30 years. Because of these failures, we continue to see high victim counts in most attacks.

The information in these lectures is a must-have for armed citizens, school guardians, church security personnel, and anyone interested in understanding the Active Shooter problem.

TDR.Training is honored to host one of the most distinguished names in Active Shooter research, Ed Monk, for two lectures about the Active Shooter problem.

Ed will be presenting 2 lectures. You may take either or both. There is a discount for taking both, and also an early bird discount for buying your ticket before May 15.

Ed will be presenting these topics:

  • 9-12. The Active Shooter Problem: A General Study of the Active Shooter Threat & How We Can Minimize Victims
  • 1-2:30. Considerations for Armed Responders to Active Shooter Attacks

The Active Shooter Problem: A General Study of the Active Shooter Threat & How We Can Minimize Victims. 3 hours

This information-packed presentation includes both a detailed study of the Active Shooter threat and recommendations for how we can reduce victims in future attacks. These recommendations are for individuals and organizations and are based on historical data, math, and logic.

You'll be presented with a detailed study of over 30 attacks at schools, churches, businesses, government facilities, and other locations. It will cover who the attacker is, weapons he uses, usual attack start locations, and the importance of math & time in planning a response. Also covered will be the correlation of what has happened most of the time thus showing what is most likely to occur.

In the school and houses of worship focused portions, you'll learn what is most likely to happen in a school or house of worship active shooter attack; how attacks differ between different facilities; recommendations for the response plan; recommendations for training staff and others to minimize victims in an attack. This presentation is based on historical data, math, and logic.
