6-hour Texas License To Carry Course
This is the course required by the state to obtain a Texas License to Carry (“LTC”).
Please ensure your first and last names are entered *exactly* as they appear on your driver's license. There will be approximately 5 hours of classroom time and 1 hour of outdoor range time.

Note: The LTC-only class is NOT a "learn how to shoot course."
If you don't currently have the skills below, please choose the TDR Intro+LTC which includes the 9am-11am Intro to Safety and Marksmanship.
- Follow the four rules of firearm safety
- Load your magazines
- Safely operate your firearm
- Be able to place a majority of 50 shots in a sheet of legal paper at distances of 9, 21, and 45 feet from a ready position under a slight time pressure.
After successfully completing the course, we’ll issue a Certificate of Training (LTC-104) that you can submit to the State to prove you have met the training requirement.

I was really dreading this class, I thought I would be so bored and just waiting for it to end. But TIM WAS EXCELLENT. He kept it funny and is very knowledgeable. GREAT CLASS!
Tim was very respectful and considerate of everyone no matter the experience they had. I took the full LTC course and was engaged the entire time. I was worried that the class would be boring but Tim had a wonderful way to keep me engaged while learning.
I have little experience in terms of firearms but Tim made sure to teach and explain the intricacies of the meaning of being a LTC card carrier. Tim’s teaching method made sure that everyone would have a full comprehensive knowledge of laws and rules helping me pass my test.
At the shooting portion of the test Tim made sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and knowledgeable enough to participate in that portion. Tim was very accommodating and respectful through the full course. I personally believe if you want a top tier education and experience for a LTC course he is the way to go. Very fairly priced and very knowledgeable all around.
Long story short, you’re getting more than your monies worth. I believe it would be a mistake to pass him up.
I took the LTC course, Tim was an amazing instructor. He kept us engaged and feeling safe 100% of the time, he made it so tougher portions were easy to understand and he was very clear in the classroom and at the range. If you’re like me and are unsure of your abilities to handling a firearm TAKE THIS CLASS!!
